76th Keesey Thanksgiving

We are excited to be hosting Thanksgiving this year. In order keep us all safe, if you plan on attending and are not fully vaccinated, we are suggesting you may take an at-home COVID test, here. We're only suggesting this for the courtesy of others.

To maintain our fellowship and connectedness, we've created this site to serve as a hub where we can share our Thanksgiving experiences and memories.

Thank you for celebrating with us. We ask that you sign the virtual guest book to maintain our tradition.

You also have the opportunity to share pictures from your celebrations with our extended family.

Now let’s have fun and enjoy our family heritage and future!!!

Script

In the year 1621, the Pilgrims held their first Thanksgiving feast. They invited the great Indian chief Massasoit, who brought ninety of his brave Indians and a great abundance of food. Governor William Bradford and Captain Miles Standish were honored guests. Elder William Brewster, who was a minister, said a prayer that went something like this: "We thank God for our homes and our food and our safety in a new land. We thank God for the opportunity to create a new world for freedom and justice."
